I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical History & Bioethics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I also hold an appointment in the Department of Philosophy.
My research revolves around the broad theme of health equity. My specific interests include: the source and shape of social obligations to protect and promote health, ethical issues in priority-setting and resource allocation, public health ethics, and the ethics of climate change.
